Alexander Alperovich is a shining example of a true immigrant success story. He was born in Minsk, and from his humble beginnings in the Soviet Union, he was driven by the desire to prosper, even when the political and economic realities of Communism created a poor climate for opportunity.
Ever the fastidious learner, he was fueled by the desire to become an entrepreneur and have greater control over his own destiny. He excelled in his studies with the understanding that education was his way to escape the marginalization of Communism and he gallantly served in the Soviet Army.
The land of opportunity beckoned him and in 1993 he was able to say goodbye to Communism and walk through the wide open door of opportunity in the United States. His dream had come true!
Upon arriving, and without any command of the English language, Alexander found work as a janitor in Baltimore, Maryland. He knew that in order to get to the top of the ladder one has to begin on the first step. He was mentally prepared and willing to pay whatever price was necessary in order to see his dreams realized—even if that meant scrubbing floors.
He gladly worked at a number of low-paying jobs, all the while asking questions, building contacts, and doing the absolute best work he could. Then providence struck and he started his first business. With no money and limited command of the language, yet filled with an abundance of passion and commitment, he was in six years able to enjoy a thriving business with over one thousand happy customers.
He was able to sell his business successfully because he learned powerful marketing strategies and unique ways to make his customers happy. He believes that true compassion and a drive to help fulfill the wishes of the client completely is the bedrock of a successful enterprise.
Over the past decade, Alexander has enjoyed success in a number of areas, including real estate, business consulting, and most recently co-authoring the #1 best-selling book series Wake Up… Live the Life You Love: Finding Personal Freedom, with Mark Victor Hansen, Wayne Dyer, and Steven E.
Alexander believes in the importance of mentors and even heroes. During his early years, he was taught the stories of great men and women. He was most inspired and drew strength from the life of Alexander the Great, who as King of Macedonia demonstrated outstanding leadership, bravery, boldness, commitment, loyalty, and an indomitable sprit.
These values from this young king have sustained Alexander, and it is these same values and warrior spirit that he brings to his true life's calling, The Immigrant Success Network (ISN). The ISN is a leadership organization run by immigrants to help immigrants become successful. Their mission and reason for existence is to provide quality education, resources, and emotional connections to support their immigrant members in achieving greatness and wealth in all areas of their lives.
The core philosophy of his life and the Immigrant Success Network (ISN) can be found in these five letters:
G is for Goals
R is for Results Oriented
E is for Enthusiasm
A is for Attitude
T is for Together
The Immigrant Success Network is motivated by a desire to help the global immigrant community by liberating human potential. His company aims to benefit his clients by giving them the proper tools, resources, and relationships they need to improve various aspects of their lives and work. He aims for the network to become the world's leading support community for immigrants around the globe, creating an affinity success group committed to the success of immigrant-entrepreneurs.
He says that success doesn't just mean money. Of course, financial rewards from your business are essential, but they're not enough! Health, family and friends, spirituality, contribution to others—all these factors combined create a balanced, fulfilling life. And living such a life makes you an irresistibly attractive "success magnet".
